At the beginning of the game, Two teams are created, and two captains are selected.
In Missing Vowel, you get to pick a particular category from three that Marj has created. From that category, she will give you the consonants in a word or a phrase. If you can guess the correct answer to her puzzle without asking for a vowel, you will receive 5 points for your team. If you ask for a vowel such as an E, once Marj has revealed any E’s that are in the answer, you can answer correctly for 4 points. If you need team help, and your team guesses the answer, it is worth 3 points. If your team is unable to give a correct answer, the opposing team has a chance to steal for 2 points. If the opposing team needs a vowel to help them figure out the correct answer, it is then worth 1 point.
The winning team is the team with the highest score at the end of the game.
