Since the inception of Games Galore and more, we have had the opportunity to have many talented and gifted individuals join our community.
We also have had the opportunity to host several special events.
New Years Eve Celebration:
Our big event is the Song Auction. This event is the event of the year for Games Galore and More. This is the event where our members actively participate in raising funds for our site. It’s loads of fun as well. It’s our main fundraiser. The way it works is that our members offer their talent and put themselves on the auction block where other members bid on them to sing a song. Once the auction has been held, the songs are chosen and recorded, and our members submit them to our Song Auction Committee. All the funds raised from these annual auctions help us maintain the site, and are used for prize money and to help our members when need be. These songs are kept secret until the night of the unveiling, New Year’s Eve. We all gather to celebrate the new year and listen to our talented members. Annual Reading of a Holiday story:
Another event that we all participate in is the annual reading of a holiday story.
Each year, we pick a particular Christmas story and the members of GGM each contribute by reading a portion of it. We piece it all together and it makes for interesting and fun entertainment. Listen to our readings here.
