Trivia Factory is a monthly trivia game hosted by David F. It is played in three rounds. The first two rounds have four categories: Who, What, When and Where. The third round is a fast finger round. The questions cover a wide range of topics including U.S. presidents, geography, history, foodways, entertainment, sports, science, mathematics, potpourri, and so much more. There are some audio questions where you will need to listen to an audio clip before answering.
Scoring:
The game employs a three, two, one scoring method. What this means, is that once the teams have been formed, and captains chosen, the host will ask a question to one member of the team,. The member must answer that question without help. If they have the right answer, they win 3 points for their team. They do not get penalized for a wrong answer. If their answer is wrong, the question goes to the entire team for two points. If the team answers incorrectly, they lose two points. If they pass, they lose no points. If the team gets the answer wrong or passes, the question goes to the other team for one point. If that team gets the answer wrong, they lose the point. If they choose to pass, they do not lose points.
Fast Finger Round:
In the final round, (the Fast Finger round,) David asks questions on a variety of topics, and the players must be first to answer the question correctly to get the points. Each question is worth 5 points, and a wrong answer will lose your team 5 points. You have to be fast with the key in order to answer these questions.
At the end of the game, the winning team is the team with the most points.
